Age Restrictions for Libreville and Port Gentil !
With immediate effect, Gabon has introduced a 36 month age limitation upon all vehicles entering the country.
It now no longer possible to import vehicles that are more then three years old, at the moment of arrival in Libreville / Port Gentil.
First Shipping can therefore no longer accept bookings of vehicles registered before September 2011.

We will accept again all reservations to Gabon without age limitation, if oceanfreight is paid 100 % before shipment.
We will NOT insist on having a written authorisation from “Conseil Gabonais des Chargeurs” before accepting a booking.
First Shipping will apply for the BIETC / waiver with the “Conseil Gabonais des Chargeurs“, whose validation is subject to maximum import of 2 vehicles per year, as described in Note Circulaire 0028/20144.
